Having survived the hell of a World War II prisoners camp, our father went on to live his life a fighter, forever fueled by a devotion to true liberty. He instilled this passion in the two of us. His wife - our mother - added her strong sense of justice. All four of us loving cars, driving, and the independence it brings, it was only natural we would end up starting Stinger together. Our main goal: defending driving freedom through superior speedtrap protection.

Our government is big and mighty. We see insane overspending, rampant bureaucracy, and blatant corporatism – the favoring of big corporations at the expense of the smaller ones and hardworking tax payers. To stay in control, ‘Big Gov’ needs to continuously grow its income, which is typically done through a step-by-step increase of taxation: old, new and hidden. One such hidden tax was to become the focus of our efforts: speedtraps. Nearly all these ambushes merely serve to fill the government’s coffers while they impede our driving freedom, encroach on our privacy and are often detrimental to traffic safety.

Most corporations launch new products largely based on ‘spreadsheet management’: prioritizing price points and cost. Add some clever advertising and... done. Not us. Being a boutique developer allows us to invent and develop to our hearts’ desire. We focus on product development and innovation in order to meet the specific requirements of high-performance car driving. Meaning: we want to make the best we can given today’s state of technology. And if that does not cut it, we relentlessly try to raise that state of technology ourselves. Only all the way at the end of this process, we calculate costs and set prices.
